Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1 /04 July | Flight to the Pantanal and transfer to Porto Jofre
Flight from Sao Paulo to Cuiaba. Meet your naturalist english-speaking guide. Following the Transpantaneira, one of South America’s great wildlife corridors, you travel deep into jaguar territory and reach Porto Jofre, where you will already spend your first night in the heart of the Pantanal.

Days 2–4 / 5–7 July | Porto Jofre – Jaguar Observation Safaris
Three full days dedicated to jaguar observation by boat along the Cuiabá River and its remote tributaries. Accompanied by highly experienced local boat pilots and jaguar trackers, you will explore winding river channels where jaguars hunt, rest, and raise their cubs.
This region offers the highest density of wild jaguars on the planet, providing unparalleled opportunities to observe and photograph these magnificent cats in their natural environment.
In addition to jaguars, you will encounter:
- Giant otters
- Caimans
- Capybaras
- Thousands of riverine birds
- And maybe more: tapirs, anacondas etc…
Each day on the river is a true wildlife expedition, adapted to animal movements and river conditions to maximize sightings.

DAY 5 / 8 July | Transfer and safaris in Pousada Piuval
In the morning, travel back on the Transpantaneira dirt road to reach Pousada Piuval.
Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walk through the surrounding trails to spot marmosets, howler monkeys, and hyacinth macaws.
In the late afternoon, embark on a sunset safari, where the golden light enhances the natural beauty of the wetlands and wildlife. As night falls, experience a magical nocturnal private safari under the star-filled sky, observing creatures that are active after dark.
Throughout your stay, you may encounter an incredible range of species, including giant anteaters, tapirs, caimans, capybaras, marsh deer, peccaries, howler monkeys, macaws, jabirus, and even jaguars or pumas.

DAY 6 / 9 July | Sunrise safari and fly to Iguaçu Falls
Early morning sunrise safari, when wildlife is most active and the soft morning light offers beautiful photographic conditions. After breakfast, enjoy another 4*4 safari or a horseback riding experience within the 7000 hectares property. After lunch, bid farewell to the Pantanal and begin your journey back to Cuiabá by road. Upon arrival at Cuiabá Airport, you will board your flight to Foz do Iguaçu.
After landing at midnight, you will be met and transferred to your hotel where you can relax, rest and prepare for your discovery of one of the world’s great natural wonders: the Iguazu Falls.

DAY 7 / 10 July | Brazilian waterfalls and Tropical Birds
Accompanied by your local english-speaking specialized guide, enjoy a full-day exploration of the Brazilian side of Iguaçu National Park, walking along panoramic trails that offer spectacular views of the waterfalls. In the afternoon, visit the Parque das Aves, a renowned bird park dedicated to the conservation of Atlantic Forest species, where you can observe colorful macaws, toucans, and other tropical birds up close.

DAY 8 / 11 July | Immersive Exploration of the Argentinian Iguaçu Falls
Discover the Argentinian side of the Iguaçu Falls, offering the most complete and immersive experience of the waterfalls. Explore the extensive network of walkways that bring you right above and alongside the cascades, providing what many consider the best and most spectacular views of the falls.
Enjoy an exhilarating boat excursion beneath the waterfalls, getting up close to the roaring cascades for an unforgettable and refreshing adventure.
