Helena Aimée

Helena is a trained wildlife veterinarian with extensive field experience in animal rescue and rehabilitation, including critical work during the devastating wildfires of the Pantanal in 2020. Passionate about conservation, she now plays an active role in research projects dedicated to protecting the jaguar and is currently pursuing her master’s degree, focusing on the interactions between giant otters and jaguars.

She is also a certified nature guide and the founder of Jaguar Wildlife Tours, offering unique wildlife experiences in the Pantanal. Her deep understanding of jaguar ecology and behavior, combined with her dedication for education, makes her an invaluable link between science, conservation, and sustainable ecotourism. 

Francois Humbert

François is a trained wildlife biologist, certified nature guide, and passionate wildlife filmmaker. As a science communicator and content creator, he shares his love for animals and the natural world with a growing community of over 150,000 followers on Instagram, always with enthusiasm, energy and a smile.

Originally from France, François has traveled the world in search of the planet’s most fascinating wildlife and wild places, from the remote jungles of Madagascar to the blazing heat of the Sahara. But it was the Pantanal that truly captured his heart. Enchanted by the vast wetlands and their extraordinary biodiversity, he made Brazil his home and he is now studying jaguar behavior and ecotourism for his master’s thesis.
