Detailed Itinerary
DAYS 1–3: Rio de Janeiro & First Impressions of Brazil
Your adventure begins in Rio de Janeiro, one of the world’s most spectacular cities, framed by golden beaches, forested peaks and the sparkling Atlantic. After settling in, you’ll set sail on a sunset cruise across Guanabara Bay, with the Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer glowing in the evening light, the perfect introduction to Brazil. Drop anchor for a refreshing swim at a secluded beach, before raising a champagne toast on board to celebrate the start of your Brazilian journey.

The following day, you’ll explore Rio’s iconic highlights: a cable car ride up the Sugarloaf, a visit to the Christ the Redeemer statue with sweeping views over the city, and a guided walk in the Tijuca National Park, the world’s largest urban forest, where toucans and monkeys live just minutes from the bustling metropolis. Later, enjoy a guided visit of Rio’s botanical garden, home to towering palms, orchids, bromeliads and a dazzling array of birdlife.
On Day 3, a short flight takes you north to São Luís, gateway to the surreal desert lagoons of the Lençóis Maranhenses.

DAYS 4–6: The Surreal Landscapes of Lençóis Maranhenses
Welcome to one of the most unique landscapes on Earth: endless sand dunes dotted with turquoise lagoons, a natural phenomenon found only here.

You’ll begin with a scenic boat journey along the Rio Preguiças, stopping at charming riverside villages and palm-fringed dunes before reaching Atins, a remote fishing village at the edge of the national park.
Over the next two days, explore this dreamlike desert by 4x4 and on foot, venturing into shimmering lagoons where you can swim in crystal-clear waters. Each sunset over the dunes paints the sand in golden light, a photographer’s paradise.

Day 6 is left free to enjoy Atins at your own pace: stroll along windswept beaches, meet local fishermen, or simply relax in a hammock as the trade winds cool the air.


Destination: Lencois Maranhenses
DAYS 7–10: Amazon Rainforest & Anavilhanas Archipelago
Fly to Manaus, the gateway to the Amazon. Transfer to Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge, located in the heart of one of the world’s largest freshwater archipelagos. Here, refined comfort meets deep immersion in the rainforest.

Glide along calm blackwater channels in traditional canoes, photographing reflections and wildlife.

DAYS 11–13: Pantanal – Transpantaneira & Pousada Piuval
Flight to Cuiabá, then transfer to Pousada Piuval, a serene lodge in a private Pantanal fazenda.
Spend afternoons relaxing and observing wildlife: capybaras, caimans, marsh deer, and birds.
Enjoy nocturnal 4x4 safaris and early morning excursions to spot animals at their most active. Horseback rides and walking trails immerse you in the wetlands, while observation towers offer stunning sunset views. The journey along the Transpantaneira road includes stops for wildlife photography before heading south to Porto Jofre.

Days 13–15: Northern Pantanal – Porto Jofre & Jaguar Safaris
Porto Jofre is the ultimate destination to see jaguars, caimans and giant otters in the wild.
Explore the Rio Cuiabá and its tributaries on river safaris from sunrise to sunset, seeking jaguars, giant otters, thousands of brids, and diverse wildlife.
Evenings are spent at Santa Rosa Lodge or the Float Hotel Aguapé, combining comfort and immersion.
These two days maximize opportunities to observe the Pantanal’s incredible fauna in its natural habitat.


Destination: Pantanal
Days 16–18: Chapada dos Guimarães – Mountains, Canyons & Waterfalls
Leaving the Pantanal behind, you drive to Chapada dos Guimarães, a land of dramatic cliffs, deep canyons, and impressive waterfalls.
Accommodation at Pousada do Parque places you in a private reserve at the park’s edge, surrounded by toucans, macaws, and playful monkeys. Over the next days, guided excursions reveal the Chapada’s diverse landscapes: hike to Morro São Jerônimo or through the Rio Claro Valley for panoramic views, explore caves and natural pools, or take a 4x4 adventure through the rocky formations of Cidade das Pedras, sculpted over millennia by wind and water.

A highlight is the Waterfall Trail, where you can swim in pristine natural pools and end the day at the Véu da Noiva viewpoint, witnessing the majestic 86-meter waterfall as red macaws perform their aerial ballet at sunset.


Destination: Chapada dos Guimaraes

Days 19–21: Iguaçu Falls – Brazilian & Argentine Sides
The journey concludes at Iguaçu Falls. After flying to Foz do Iguaçu, the first evening is free to relax.
On the Brazilian side, trails and footbridges offer incredible views of the falls, including the Devil’s Throat, and encounters with coatis, toucans, and butterflies. A local dinner showcases the region’s culinary richness.
On the Argentine side, explore the wilder, more expansive park, walking through rainforest to experience the waterfalls’ raw power up close. The journey ends with a final night at Cris Garden Bed & Breakfast, leaving unforgettable memories of Brazil’s wildlife and landscapes.
